After successful design review, the negotiation phase of major equipment technology for 13800m3 TSH Dredger arrived. On September 14, 2011, an in-depth technical exchange negotiation about main propulsion system (propulsion mainframe, gear box and adjustable program system) for 13800m3 TSH Dredger was held by technical representatives from Jiangsu Haihong Construction Engineering Co., Ltd., Haixin HI, MARIC and MAN D&T in the meeting room on the 7th floor of Haixin HI Office Building.
Two designs for the main propulsion system are available: the free end of the host with output shaft and without output shaft. On the two programs, representatives of the four parts analyzed and compared in-depth, and exchange agreement on the detailed configuration and technology, and finally signed two sets of technical specification on September 15.
